Julianne Moore isn’t your typical big breasted, ignorant sounding, hair flipping, “come save me” damsel. In most of her movies she tends to play a woman who is much smarter than any of the men she’s dealing with. Especially in Assassins where she plays opposite Sylvester Stallone and Antonio Banderas. She tends to be one of those women that is a big hit or miss with me. I guess it’s probably her jaw line that causes that. Sometimes she looks a bit like Jay Leno and other times she looks like a babe. Don’t get me wrong, I think that she is an attractive woman, for sure, but is she hot? I guess everyone has their own tastes but if she’s good enough for The Dude, then she’s good enough for me.
Electra is the surveillance/hacker expert who has become the newest “mark” for the two leading hitmen in the world. Luckily for her, Robert Rath (Sylvester Stallone) is prepared to “hang it up” as the top contract killer in the world and together they devise a plan to get rich selling her floppy disc worth of information to the man who wanted her dead. Miguel Bain (Antonio Banderas), however, has eyes on becoming the top killer in the world and will stop at nothing to get to Rath and Electra. Electra uses her tech-savvy throughout the movie to keep a step ahead of the assassin named Bain, whose tools include a bevy of silenced weapons he uses to extinguish his targets.
