Bad Girls: Adrianne Palicki – John Wick

Navigating the criminal underworld can’t be an easy task and it must be especially difficult for a woman but if there is one person who has pulled off the near-impossible it is the beautifully deadly Ms. Perkins. Her loyalty is to money and not the hitman code that the others seem to be handcuffed to so you can expect Ms. Perkins to get herself into situations which require an even deadlier touch.

This isn’t Palicki’s first foray into action cinema as she starred in the 2010 angel warfare movie Legion, the Red Dawn remake (I hated it), and the G.I. Joe sequel (awesome). Her most recent role as Ms. Perkins was probably the shortest on-screen time she had in all of these films but it was by far one of the most satisfying for me. Seeing her pilot for the Wonder Woman TV show get canned was probably a huge bummer for Palicki but I think she’s better off without that show clogging up her schedule and leaving her plenty of opportunities to do sweet-ass action movies like John Wick.
