Scene of the Week: Equilibrium

Equilibrium is an absolute blast! I’ve written about the flick once before and if you’ve never had the pleasure of watching it you need to power up the Netflix machine and treat yo’self to an hour and 40 minutes of gun kata’ing amazingness! I understand that last sentence contains several words that aren’t real but sometimes it’s not easy to describe something using proper English. No matter, just know that the following scene isn’t even the best one in the film and it’s still better than anything that Mark Wahlberg has ever done. Plus, everyone loves puppies! Equilibrium will forever be a hidden gem in the filmography of Christian Bale because of all the Dark Knighting and character acting that he’s done but that doesn’t mean that it won’t survive thanks to action loving fans like you and me!
