Scene of the Week: Watch Out!
On December 13th, 1959, Juan Fernandez was born. While fans of the action entertainment genre may not recognize him by name, he’s one of those actors you know you’ve seen before.
Fernandez has guest starred on a number of television shows including Miami Vice, CSI: Miami and Walker, Texas Ranger.
In the movies, Fernandez has played opposite the likes of Gary Busey in Bulletproof, Louis Gossett Jr in Aces: Iron Eagle III, Jean-Claude Van Damme in In Hell, Vin Diesel in A Man Apart and Charles Bronson in Kinjite: Forbidden Subjects.
And it is a memorable scene from Kinjite: Forbidden Subjects featuring Juan Fernandez and Charles Bronson that I have selected as this week’s Scene of the Week in honor of Fernandez’s birthday.
In Kinjite, Fernandez plays Duke, a pimp who specializes in abducting underage girls, getting them hooked on drugs and then putting these girls to work for his creepy pedophile clients. Charles Bronson plays a lieutenant with the LAPD who is looking to take down Duke and his sick and perverted empire. When you watch this week’s Scene of the Week, you will see that Bronson’s Lt.
