Scene of the Week: Shock Treatment
On March 6th, 1987 the world was witness to the first pairing of Mel Gibson and Danny Glover in Lethal Weapon.
As Riggs and Murtaugh, Gibson and Glover reached Hall of Fame levels in the buddy cop genre. The movie was so popular with fans and critics alike, it spawned three sequels and one has to wonder if movies like Bad Boys and Rush Hour would have ever been made if not for the success of the Lethal Weapon franchise.
