Scene of the Week: Darth Maul: Apprentice

Just a couple of days ago, a link came across one of the many blogs that I frequent featuring this very clip that I’m about to show you. It’s actually not a clip but a full fan film written and directed by a fella named Shawn Bu.

Darth Maul has been a fan favorite since he first appeared in that hot pile of garbage called The Phantom Menace, but no matter how many people hated on that film, the character ruled pretty damn hard and would return to the Star Wars scene during the totally awesome Clone Wars series.

In this beautifully shot short film, a group of hipster parkour-loving jedi and their hot friend come face to face with a still in training Maul. We all know that hipsters can’t fight so it’s only a matter of time before Maul kicks their gluten free asses. Check it out and let me know what you think in the comments below.
