Tough Chicks: Dina Meyer – Starship Troopers

There are about 40 good reasons to watch Starship Troopers and at least 3 of them have to do with Dina Meyer and/or her naked body. Somehow during the writing process, the character of Dizzy Flores in the novel turned from a man into a gorgeous scarlet-haired badass.

The more times that I watch Starship Troopers, the more I’m convinced that Johnny Rico may be the dumbest man on the future planet Earth. Sure, Denise Richards is all kinds of hot, but you never turn down the 9 who wants to jump your bones because the 10 looked at you. I could be wrong, I guess. Rico did score with both women, but he could have been having crazy, almost-football teammate sex with Dizzy for years to come.

Rico’s relationship with Dizzy signifies a long history I have had with women. I spent many a year tied up in “going nowhere” couples with women who were too much Carmen Ibanez and not enough Dizzy Flores. I was always trying so hard to keep them happy when there was a beautiful woman right behind me who was willing to do just about anything to kick it with me.

I really screwed up Dizz.

But now I’m super married to my own Dizzy. I don’t know if she would ever go so far to join the Mobile Infantry to be around me but she lets me do other things, and that’s enough for me.
