Woman Crush Wednesday: Heather Lind – Turn: Washington’s Spies
Before Heather Lind appeared on the AMC television show Turn: Washington’s Spies, she had appeared in over a dozen movies and series’ but it wasn’t until I saw her boldness and beauty hidden under an 18th century dress that I truly fell in love with her. We’re talking Savage Garden ‘Madly Deeply’ kind of love here. This is serious…
Lind stars alongside the super talented Jamie Bell. Yes, the same Jamie Bell that was in the hilariously stupid Jumper. And yes again, Bell is much better in Turn than he is in that film so don’t worry your pretty little head off. If you really need a reason to watch Turn: Washington’s Spies then just check out this picture of Lind attempting to infiltrate a group of British officers while in New York.
Notice that look there? That was the moment when ‘ole Chad was hooked on this show. Not to mention, all of the excellent 1700’s espionage that goes on between Lind, Bell, the red coats, and the Loyalists bouncing around their town. It’s a show that really lends itself to the streaming world of today because you’ll want to watch episode after episode.
After watching the way some of these creepy Brits try to move in on the lovely Anna Strong you’ll be rushing to pop your DVD copy of The Patriot in if only to see Mel Gibson tomahawk a guy in the forehead. Keep your clammy hands of my lady!
