Scene of the Week: Drive Me Crazy
On February 26, 1964, future action star Mark Dacascos was born in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii.
If you ask any fan of Mark Dacascos to name some of their favorite Mark Dacascos movies, 1997’s Drive is going to be towards the top of their list. And for good reason, the movie in a word is awesome. The fight scenes are absolutely mind blowing and feature some of the most innovative offense ever captured on film. Drive isn’t just on my favorite Mark Dacascos movies list it is also on my list of movies I feel need to be released on Blu-ray here in the United States.
If you’ve never seen Drive you owe it to yourself to track it down and watch. If you’ve seen Drive and want to relive some of the unbelievable action, one YouTuber has compiled all of Mark’s amazing fight scenes from Drive into one high quality video. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Mark’s birthday then by watching him kick some ass! So enjoy with me the fighting highlights of 1997’s Drive.
