Scene of the Week: Anchorman
When you think of actors that have been in memorable movie street fights you probably aren’t thinking about guys like Will Ferrell or Steve Carell… but there is no denying that the street fight from 2004’s Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is one of that movie’s most memorable moments.
This week’s Scene of the Week takes a look at the action packed absurdity of rival news teams engaging in a back alley street fight. There’s plenty of trash talking, a plethora of weapons, a guy gets propelled into a windshield, there’s man on fire, a news anchor loses a limb, Brick kills a guy with a trident and there’s even an homage to the Planet of the Apes.
