Scene of the Week: Chased by a Cobra

Action fans can debate until the cows come home whether or not Cobra should be classified as a Cannon film or not. But what is not up for debate is that Cobra is an awesome slice of 80’s action that you may want to cut with a pair of scissors.

This week’s Scene of the Week takes a look at the car chase scene from Cobra, as Marion Cobretti (Sylvester Stallone) takes the fight to the Night Slasher (Brian Thompson) and his crazed cult right on the streets of Los Angeles, all while protecting Ingrid the star witness (Brigitte Nielsen).

The scene has everything you could ask for in a car chase and more… there’s property damage, pedestrians fleeing for their lives, cars jumping and flipping and even the drivers and passengers engaging in this multi-vehicle demolition derby shooting at one another with a variety of firearms!
