Scene of the Week: Deadpool’s 12 Bullets

The past decade has seen an influx of comic book superheroes enter the action movie world and flex their box office muscle. For the casual fan, there are too many superhero movies to keep up with. But even in the superhero heavy movie landscape, there are some films that manage to stand out from the rest, like 2016’s Deadpool.

With its R rated language and sense of humor, Deadpool did not sound like any other superhero film. Couple that with a career defining performance by Ryan Reynolds and it is no wonder that Deadpool raked in over 800 million dollars world wide despite not being able to tap into the kid’s audience.
