Scene of the Week: The Punisher (1989)
If your only knock on 1989’s The Punisher is about the lack of a skull logo on Frank Castle’s t-shirt, you need to start a Go Fund Me or Kickstarter campaign to have the classic Punisher logo digitally added to the film. Then while you wait for the contributions to start pouring in, you should sit back and enjoy the over the top violence of Mark Goldblatt’s The Punisher starring Dolph Lundgren and Louis Gossett Jr.
This week’s Scene of the Week spotlights The Punisher at its most violent as our hero Frank Castle (Dolph Lundgren, Showdown in Little Tokyo) is forced to team up with mobster Gianni Franco (Jeroen Krabbé, The Living Daylights) as they take on the Yakuza!
