A Pictorial History of Bruceploitation Posters
There are just a few more days left for Michael Worth’s Martial Art: A Pictorial History of Bruceploitation Posters Indiegogo campaign. Click here to go the official Indiegogo campaign page!
Michael Worth’s love of the Bruceploitation genre is a love that started in his formative years in Northern California, but it has become much more for the actor/filmmaker/author in recent years. Worth has become a champion for all things Bruceploitation.
Worth along with Matthew Whitaker from Cinema Bushido, hosts The Clones Cast… a podcast that covers films from the Bruceploitation genre starring the likes of Dragon Lee, Bruce Le and Bruce Li. But Michael Worth doesn’t just talk about the film genre he loves… he is actively working to preserve and restore Bruceploitation films and other martial arts titles of the past as part of VCI’s Pearl River Collection.
Michael Worth is also working on a Bruceploitation documentary, a definitive guide known as The Bruceploitation Bible… and now a potential companion piece to both of those projects is the focus of his Indiegogo campaign.
The limited edition coffee table book, known as Martial Art: A Pictorial History of Bruceploitation Posters, will feature posters culled from Michael Worth’s personal collection. These are posters that are as unique, creative and over the top as the movies they represent. Martial Art promises to be a one of a kind collectible for kung fu film fanatics.
The perks for becoming a backer range from a digital copy of the book, signed physical copies, an actual poster from Michael’s collection and a guest appearance on The Clones Cast! For all the details you can click here to check out the official Indiegogo page.
We encourage you to donate if you can and/or spread the word about the campaign so this dream project can become a reality. And if you’d like to hear Michael discuss the campaign, be sure to check out Episode 3 of The Bulletproof Podcast!
