Bullet Points: Strike Back: Vendetta (Part 5)
It is time for another episode recap of Strike Back. We are officially halfway through the final season. Now, let us see what kind of action mischief Section 20 gets into this week.
- To Catch You Up: It appears Zarkova’s story arc is now complete. There’s still a big bad bio-weapon out there. Wyatt’s endless supply of Hawaiian shirts is Strike Back fashion gold. Also, we had some of the best action in the history of Strike Back last week. It can only get better, right?
- Zayef is Loco: Zayef is turning into an insane bad guy. He goes crazy on one of his own men, and his brother, Mahir is the only one who can calm him down. This is one evil family in dire need of some counseling.
- Kaboom: Mahir is captured by Section 20, and Mac tries to get intel out of him. Mac is savage with his interrogation techniques. However, a huge truck takes out a gas station, and Zayef and his crew try to rescue Brother Mahir. This is Strike Back. I have a feeling this shit ain’t going to end well. Mac makes a call to save his team over keeping Mahir. Thank goddess, how would we get 5 more episodes with a dead team?
- On to Munich: Mac believes the bio-weapon and the baddies can be found in Munich. This is big for Mac. Col. Coltrane has told Mac his career will be over if he’s wrong. Damn, I didn’t see Mac’s story ending in the unemployment line. However, this is Strike Back. So I’m guessing Mac will be right.
- Intel Chasing: Munich turns into an insane gunfight, and all hell breaks loose. We have another Strike Back Shitstorm. Zayef shows his true bad guy colors, and an explosion rocks the city. We have total chaos. This can’t end well. Mac feels personally responsible and goes One Man Army to make things right. Have I told you how much of a badass Mac is in this episode?
- Oh Shit: I’m speechless. Strike Back ends in a way that I can’t process right now. I’m praying to the Strike Back Gods that all is well. Thankfully, I now feel better after seeing scenes for next week.
Now it is time for me to give my declassification report for this episode.
- Who gets naked? No one! Come on. This is getting very old.
- Does Novin use her linguistic skills? Surprisingly, No.
- Status report on Chetri? She’s still alive. This has to be a Strike Back record for most episodes with the same computer tech.
Another monster episode in the books. I can’t wait to see how the story plays out.
- And the MVP goes to: Mac. Did you have any doubts? Mac dominates the entire episode. I’m so going to miss this show when it ends.
Tune in next week to see if I’ve recovered from this heart pounding episode of Strike Back.
