Bullet Points: Strike Back: Vendetta (Part 9)
Strike Back only has two episodes left. We here at Bulletproof Action can’t wait to see how it ends. Let’s do this!
- To catch you up: Section 20 is now on the Black List. The team got revenge for Mac by Coltrane shooting Zayef stone cold dead, and we learned Mama Demachi is really a deep cover Russian Secret Agent. How will Section 20 survive this clusterfuck?
- Main Title Design: One of the coolest aspects of Strike Back is the opening credits. The animation used is awesome, and if you pay attention, you catch scenes from the season. The title design was even nominated for an Emmy back in 2012. This week, watch for Novin’s middle finger to start the credits off just right. Plus, don’t tell me you don’t sing the theme song every time you watch.
- Chetri: Chetri is not only the longest surviving computer tech, but she’s also the moral compass of Section 20. She has a hard drive with information that could be damning to both the USA and UK governments. The CIA wants her stopped, and they “politely” ask Section 20 to find her. It is also worth noting that Wyatt has a past with the CIA. Like, the CIA was his employer. This should be very interesting. Watch for Chetri to finally get the chance to show off some of her fighting skills. She kicks ass.
- Shit hits the fan: Of course the Russians are all over the place. Leading the charge is Mama Demachi. She’s cleaning house, and ordered the kidnapping of Chetri. There’s a powerful scene between Chetri and Demachi. Both ladies demonstrate their mad acting skills. We even have a cameo from Katrina, who risks everything to help the team one last time. We should’ve known the Russians would be the Final Boss.
- Son of a Bitch: Not again, brace yourself Strike Back fans, you’re going to need therapy. This episode doesn’t have a happy ending.
Now it is time for my declassification report for this episode:
- Who gets naked? No one. Sadly, I believe we will not have any more Strike Back nudity. But, you never know.
- Favorite Quote? Nothing says conversation like tear gas and tasers- Wyatt to a CIA person
- How many languages does Novin speak? A lot more than you do.
- And the MVP goes to… Chetri. Well, all I can say is this episode will punch you in the gut, but if you’re not proud of Chetri, then shame on you.
We only have one episode of Strike Back left. Who will survive? What Hawaiian shirt will Wyatt wear for the finale? Tune in next week for my final review of Strike Back.
OMG
Katrina, Chetri. I smiled, I cried (I really did).
Perfect episode. Another long week till the finale.
Thanks for the review, every word of it is spot on, the last bit about Chetri so damn right.
Thank you so very much, Philaretes!
