Bullet Points: Crazy Fist
Hi-YAH! continues to be one of the best bangs for your buck. For only $2.99 a month, you can stream exciting action and martial arts movies featuring Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Donnie Yen and countless others. I strongly recommend you consider subscribing.

Crazy Fist is currently streaming on Hi-YAH!, but if physical media is more your thing, then might I suggest you wait to watch it until September 14th when Well Go USA will release Crazy Fist on Blu-ray and DVD. Crazy Fist will also hit various VOD services on that day as well in case you don’t have Hi-YAH! and you don’t buy Blu-ray’s or DVD’s…
- The Plot: Crazy Fist is written and directed by Guo Qing. He also stars as the lead. His character kinda looks like Dominic Toretto, and the story has a lot of Fast & Furious vibes. Steve Yoo shows up as a top-notch MMA fighter who also happens to be an undercover cop. Of course, these two will collide, but will they also end up joining forces to save the day? Crazy Fist also stars Wang Wei, Collin Chou and retired professional bodybuilder, Kai Greene.

- Mortal Kombat: The opening of Crazy Fist will bring the house down in households that love action. There’s a crazy MMA tournament that looks like something ripped straight outta Mortal Kombat. There are even killer alligators ready to take a bite out of the fighters who fall into the water surrounding the fighting arena. If Crazy Fist kept this pace for its entire runtime, it might have been my film of the year.
- Fast & Furious: After the insane opening, Crazy Fist goes into Fast & Furious mode. Steve Yoo drives fast cars and flirts with the ladies. Guo Qing drives a Ford F-650 and wears a white muscle shirt like no one’s business. Guo Qing also rides a motorcycle like he is an affordable Donnie Yen. Steve Yoo forgets he owns a shirt. Both actors look like they have never missed a day working out in the gym. The testosterone never stops in Crazy Fist.

- Final Thoughts: My biggest beef with Crazy Fist is we never get Guo vs. Steve in the ring fighting it out. We instead get another subplot that gets in the way of the fight that should have been. Crazy Fist did keep me entertained. It is a movie in the middle of my action wheelhouse. I think I like it more than the average action fanatic, but that doesn’t mean you will not like it as well.
