Scene of the Week: Where’s the Fire?
I am not the James Bond expert on the Bulletproof Action staff (that distinction belongs to Matt Spector).
I am not the firefighter on the Bulletproof Action staff (that distinction belongs to Chad Cruise).
But that is not going to stop me from presenting one of my favorite big action set pieces in the near 60 year history of the James Bond film franchise…
This week’s Scene of the Week is courtesy of 1985’s A View to a Kill, featuring Sir Roger Moore in his final bow as 007. Bond finds himself sideways with the San Francisco Police Department, after the cops don’t buy Bond’s story about being with the British Secret Service, something even his female companion Stacey Sutton (Tanya Roberts) was unaware of at that point… this leads to the cops chasing Bond and Sutton through the streets of San Francisco… and did I mention that Bond and Sutton are driving a fire engine?
