Scene of the Week: Premium Rush

I will give Hollywood credit, they can make an action movie out of anything. You don’t have to look any further than the 2012 action movie Premium Rush.  For those not in the know, Premium Rush is an action movie that delves deep into the work of New York City bike messengers. Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as Wilee (is there a more bike messenger name out there?) in a surprisingly entertaining film that benefits from its non-linear storytelling and exciting bike scenes to mask its mundane dirty cop plot.

This week’s Scene of the Week takes a look at the life of a bike messenger with some nifty visuals and bike action. Enjoy Premium Rush and the bike messenger action because pretty soon (maybe even when you are reading this) drones and robots will be putting people like Wilee out of work. To the future!
