Scene of the Week: The Silencers (1996)
When you think of PM Entertainment you probably aren’t going to immediately think of 1996’s The Silencers, but the action/sci-fi movie is about as PM Entertainment as it gets…
- The movie was directed by the P in PM Entertainment, Richard Pepin.
- The movie starred a PM Entertainment favorite, Jack Scalia.
- The movie featured some insane vehicular stunts.
This week’s Scene of the Week will spotlight one of the big chase scenes in the film… as Jack Scalia’s Rafferty finds himself escorting a tanker truck carrying some precious cargo. There’s some fun banter between Rafferty and the man behind the wheel of the tanker truck, Kirby (Lance LeGault of The A-Team fame). But the good times are over when some “men in black” do their best to prevent the cargo from reaching its intended destination. Props to Cole McKay, the stunt coordinator and key stunt driver for The Silencers…
