Woman Crush Wednesday: Danielle Harris
Not only is Danielle Harris a certified Scream Queen and and ageless sorceress who drinks the blood of children to stay youthful, but she has also starred in several action films alongside action genre vets like Michael Rooker, Eric Roberts, and Michael Biehn. It may come as a surprise to you, though, that she’s also played alongside action heavyweights Bruce Willis and Sly Stallone. It doesn’t get much bigger that that !
I might have made up that part about drinking blood but Harris has appeared in enough horror films to earn a seat amongst the most successful ladies of horror and even though she is in her late 30’s she doesn’t look a day over 25.
I’ve always had a thing for the dark-haired ladies. A consistent BPA follower may have noticed my affection for Judie Aronson but in recent years I’ve really had my eye on Harris. She went face to face with Michael Myers in the Rob Zombie-helmed Halloween reboots and she was influential in my enjoyment of the recent vampire flick Stake Land.
Fans of Danielle Harris will be happy to hear that she has at least two films slated for release in 2016 with more to be announced, I assume. Anyone unfamiliar with Harris’ work should check her out in the slasher series Hatchet. Harris appears in all but the original and her character turns into a pretty epic badass !
