Women of Action: Eve Mauro – Cyborg X
One year after the machines decimated most of the population (99.9% by all accounts) a small outpost of survivors attempt to put together a plan that could take down the murderous cyborgs and destroy the drones built by X-Corp, potentially saving mankind in the process. Sounds heavy, huh? Well, Cyborg X is the type of film that tries so hard to be Terminator with hot chicks that it sometimes forgets that its greatest attribute is that it has some great hot chicks. Including the badass Lt. Spears.
If you’re looking for more reasons to watch Cyborg X then allow me to present “Exhibit B”:
Okay… so Cyborg X isn’t some sort of transformative science fiction movie with unbelievable action, special effects, and character development that would rival any long form epic by a long-since dead British writer. If you’re looking for all that stuff then you should probably just watch Terminator. That is what Cyborg X is tries to be anyway. But there is one thing that is certain and that is that Linda Hamilton doesn’t look this hot in a tank top!
Eve Mauro isn’t just a pretty face, marvelous body, and set of post-apocalyptic bra buddies that would make even certain death seem a little less bad, she’s also the type of girl who will pull out a massive bazooka and blow the shit out of a bunch of bad guys without a second thought. In fact, the entire plot of Cyborg X (think Terminator Salvation) only moves forward because Eve’s Lt. Spears is the driving force behind it. She might not make things easy on her commander at times but she is definitely easy on the eyes all the time and everyone knows that no one kills machines and cyborgs like a tough-ass chick!
