Bullet Points: 6 Underground

6 Underground has skipped the theater and arrived straight to Netflix. Here are some Bullet Points to see if you should stay inside and Netflix & Bay. 

• The Plot: Ryan Reynolds is a billionaire who fakes his own death and forms a team to go after the bad guys. The team is a ghost. No one knows they’re still alive. Each member has a special skill set, and they do the work that is too dirty for the government. The story centers around Ryan and his team as they go on one mission after another to stop a ruthless dictator and prevent total mass destruction. 

• So Bay: Michael Bay is laughing so hard right now. There’s so much hate in the film critic circle for Mr. Bay. Y’all just jealous. Michael Bay doesn’t care. He directs movies one way: His Way! 6 Underground is Bay to the bone. It is action packed from the beginning to the end. Broken glass everywhere. Crazy stunts. Insane car chases. Lots of bullets. The signature way Michael Bay holds the camera while shooting any and everything. I can’t believe 6 Underground is a straight to Netflix movie. It should’ve been a Summer Blockbuster at the theater. Movies this action packed deserve to be seen on the big screen.

• The Cast: Ryan Reynolds is one of the more likable actors in Hollywood. His team is pretty damn awesome as well. Corey Hawkins and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo shine the brightest, but each member gets to contribute to the action, and if you pay attention, you will notice Ryan takes a backseat to a lot of the kills, and he lets everyone share the spotlight. The team gets to play a game of Secret Agent, while traveling from Italy to Las Vegas to Hong Kong to some country that’s in a desert and ends in STAN. 

• So much action: 6 Underground is the ultimate 2019 action movie for the readers of Bulletproof Action. I know y’all love action, and 6 Underground never lets off of the action pedal. It is a throwback action movie. It reminds me of the glory days of movies actually kicking ass and having so much fun it starts to really hurt. There’s a 20 minute car chase to open, followed by some Las Vegas shenanigans, a Hong Kong hostage rescue and an insane final boss battle on a giant yacht. Yes! Action with a capital B! Yes, B! B for Bay!! You need 6 Underground in your life.
