Bullet Points: Strike Back: Vendetta (Part 10)
All things must come to an end. Strike Back is now over. Now, let’s see if Section 20 went out with a bang!
- To catch you up: A tense episode 9 saw Chetri go out like a boss. Her death will set up the series finale you’re about to read about. 20 needs to get revenge for both Mac and Chetri. Can we please have a happy ending?
- Siberian Prison Camp: Nothing quite says Strike Back like a Siberian Prison Camp escape. For some reason, Coltrane is being held prisoner, but Wyatt gets him out. We also learn Novin is doing her own thing, and things are about to get messy.
- Casino Shootout: Nothing quite says Strike Back like a badass Casino Shootout. Novin goes One Badass Army and shoots every baddie she sees. It is one of the best gunfights ever filmed on Strike Back. It is everything Strike Back is all about: Entertaining the hell out of the audience, while blowing a lot of shit up.
- The Heist: Nothing quite says Strike Back like a heist to steal 250 million dollars from the damn Russians. Of course, Coltrane gets intel that Mama Demachi has a stash of cash, and he convinces Wyatt and Novin to help steal the money. It sounds like 20 has a chance to retire in style. But, this is Strike Back, so all will not go as planned, but I promise you will dig all the action and tension in the final episode.
- Kaboom: Nothing quite says Strike Back like the way Coltrane finally puts Mama Demachi down. This is another moment that is easily one of my favorite moments of the season. 20 fans will be rejoicing!
- The End: Nothing quite says Strike Back like the way the series ends. What a final scene. Damn, I want more episodes, but you know what? I’m so thrilled with the ending. Rarely do series end in a way that you’re completely satisfied. Strike Back has ended on a high note, and that’s damn impressive.
Now it is time for my declassification report for this episode:
- Who gets naked? No one. Strike Back still kicks ass though.
- Favorite quote? “How’s this nonviolent thing working out for you?” – Novin …”Be a helluva lot easier if people weren’t trying to fuckin’ kill me.” – Wyatt
- What’s cooler? Wyatt’s wardrobe or beard? My answer: Both
- Favorite nickname for Novin? Short Stuff or Kid? My answer: Short Stuff
- Total confirmed kills for Section 20 this season? 768. Just kidding. Who knows? My answer: A lot.
And the MVP goes to…
Coltrane, Novin and Wyatt. We get a finale where all 3 central characters have a lot of great moments. All are MVP worthy.
Overall Season 8 MVP…
Coltrane. He’s easily the greatest leader 20 has ever had. Justice for Mac. Justice for Chetri. God Bless, Strike Back!
That’s it! The show is over. Thank you so very much for hanging with BPA. It has been a pleasure, Action Fans!
