Scene of the Week: Meet the Pentangle

Of all the villains that Michael Dudikoff battled over the course of his film career, I don’t think any of them come close to the level of evil as the Pentangle from the 1986 film, Avenging Force.

The Pentangle is a group of twisted individuals who take pleasure in hunting humans and when you combine that with the fact that they are radical white supremacists, it becomes clear they have less than zero redeeming qualities.

Now the name Pentangle would infer this group was made up of five members, but we only end up meeting four out of the five in Avenging Force. Presumably the fifth member would have been revealed if the adventures of Matt Hunter had continued, but sadly they did not.

This week’s Scene of the Week is the opening scene of Avenging Force and our introduction to the four known members of the Pentangle… Wade Delaney (William Wallace, The Delta Force), Charlie Lavall (Marc Alaimo, Tango & Cash), Jeb Wallace (Karl Johnson, Stickfighter) and last but not least, Professor Elliott Glastenbury (John P. Ryan, Death Wish 4: The Crackdown).
