Scene of the week: Invincible Armour

What makes this fight scene stand out to me isn’t how brutal or highly skilled it appears to be but just how damned entertaining it is. There are plenty of better fight scenes out there but this one is definitely worth a watch.

Chow Lu Fung’s buddy Shen Yu starts us off fighting some spear-wielding ninjas before we get to see the awesomeness that is the Iron Armour Technique. By the time Chow shows up Minister Cheng has already taken the advantage against Shen Yu and it’s up to Chow to find his weak spot…which isn’t where you might expect it to be.

Here’s the plot….

Plot: Minister Cheng (Hwang Jang Lee) is a corrupt Ming guard who frames Chow Lu Fung (John Liu) for murder. A wanted fugitive, Chow hides out with a teen who is an expert in the infamous Iron Armour technique, which means that the person using said technique can withstand anything. However, Minister Cheng is also an expert as well as the Eagle Claw (I mean, who isn’t). Can Chow and his crew stop the evil Minister Cheng before it is too late?
