Scene of the Week: The Man

Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood is way too long of a title for a movie and it is perfect. The 90s spoof movie starring the Wayans Brothers is as ridiculous in a good way as the title. Ashtray (Shawn Wayans) gets sent to the inner city to live with his father and hangs out with his cousin Loc Dog (Marlon Wayans) and many other parodic friends and family members.

This week’s Scene of the Week takes a look shopping experience gone bad. Loc Dog and Ashtray are at a Korean store that is very familiar to those who have see the beginning of Menace II Society. It is filled with offensive stereotypes and gunfire and The Man doing what he always does. If you haven’t see Don’t Be a Menance (or Menace II Society) there is only one thing I can say, I feel sorry for you mother.
