Woman Crush Wednesday: Kylie Minogue
They say that there is a perfect match for each of us out there and in 1994 my perfect match was a pop star portraying a video game character named Cammy from the excellent Street Fighter game series. It was love at first sight…er..play? Kylie Minogue squeezed her body into that tight little blue outfit and turned an eleven year old Chad into a hormonal grenade ready to explode. Fortunately for my tube sock collection, she was only on screen for several minutes during the film.
The fact is that I would fight an armed mob with nothing but a pair of scissors just for an up close look at this lady’s rear-end. She was already a music icon before her acting career began and her role in Street Fighter only helped to turn more men into mush than ever before. If you think about it, an action movie is the perfect thing for a pop star to attempt. The target audience of pop music and the target audience of most action movies aren’t one in the same so it would allow the starlet to knockout two birds with one stone. Damn, I should have been her agent! There is a rumor going around that Jean Claude Van Damme and Kylie hooked up on during filming of this masterpiece. I’m not one to go around spreading rumors but if it’s true then he and I are gonna have some words…
